Death to one man and critical injury to another in an automobile wreck at Sequim early today brought a tragic end to the deer hunting expedition of four Port Angeles longshremen, bound for the deer hunting county of Okanogan.
William Cargo, 41, of Eight and Chase Streets passed away about 8 o'clock this morning at the Sequim hospital, five hours after the accident. William Henry Cargo, who lost his life in the crash, is survived by his wife and six children and other relatives.
He was born August 6, 1895, at Little Falls, Minnesota. Coming here from Yakima with his family six years ago, he had lived in Port Angeles since. His marriage to Miss Glendora Pepion occured at Yakama.
The surviving relativrs in addition to Mrs. Cargo include: six children, Mrs. Henry Knies and Clyde, Willard, Eric, Birdie and Patty Cargo, all of Port Angeles; five brothers, Rance and Warren of Ellensburg and Elmer, Fred and Fred of Selah, and two sisters, Mrs. Dehnhoff and Mrs. Harrison of Selah.
