Deceased was married to Miss Mary Estell January 1, 1849.
To this union-seven children were born, two of whom, Sarah and an unnamed infant, are dead. The living are Mrs. Emeline Clark, Jas. Foster, Mrs. Elizabeth Kessler, Phil and William, all of this city.
Mr. Foster's wife died April 27, 1893,since which time he has made his home with his children, the greater part of the time having been spent with his daughter, Mrs. J. H. Kessler.
Mr. Foster was a good man, never speaking ill of anyone, but having a word of cheer for each and everyone with whome he came in contact.
The remains were laid to rest Monday afternoon in the cemetary at the Christian Church.
Note: No stone was found for grave site.
