He was a member of the Teamsters union and spent over 40 years as a truck driver until retirement with Transcon Truck Lines. Coy lived in OKC for many years until moving to Durant, OK after retirement. Coy was an avid and skilled domino player.
He was preceded in death by Lois, his wife of 63 years who passed away just 7 weeks earlier. Despite failing health for several years, Coy believed his purpose was to care for his wife. Once she was called to Heaven, Coy was ready to join her.
He is survived by son Coy, Jr. and wife Barbara Fuller of OKC; daughter Barbara and husband Mark Bishop of Allen, TX, twin sister Margree Mills, sister Ruth West, both of Tulsa, 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 2PM Thurs, May 13, 2010 at Draper Park Christian Church with burial following at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City, under the direction of Advantage Funeral Service~South Chapel 7720 S. Pennsylvania, OKC, OK 73159.
