Mary Christine Kelso Smith, 86, died Friday, May 7, 2010, at Tri-Lakes Medical Center. Services were held Sunday, May 9 at Kimbro Funeral Home in Marks, Mississippi. Burial was in Belen Cemetery, Dr. Laurie Jones officiated.
Mrs. Smith, Born November 11, 1923, in Webb to the late John and Martha Stapp Kelso, was a member of First Baptist Church in Marks, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her husband Lill Ward "Pud" Smith, and two sons John Ward Smith and Jack Wayne Smith. Survivors include one son, Roger Smith of Marks; one daughter, Julia Norwood of Batesville; five grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
