Gil was born in Providence, RI and lived his early life in the Fox Point neighborhood of Providence. As a young man he joined the Air Force and later returned to Providence where he engaged in several business ventures. In the later part of his life he went on to become a successful car salesman.
Gil and his partner Cheryl Dennis moved to Florida in the mid-1980s where they lived in Sunrise.
We lost our brother in 2005 to cancer. He was cremated at Falowski Funeral and Cremation Services of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and interred at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, RI.
