US ARMY - WORLD WAR II


All 3 Urban boys served in WWII. His brother Charles 56786029 gave his life for his country in the South Pacific. He is buried in Manila of the Philippines. His brother Emile, also buried here, was gravely wounded and received a medical discharge.

URBAN, EDMUND T., 87, of Aldrich Street, died Tuesday at Kent Hospital, Warwick. Husband of Cecelia (Marsocci) Urban, married fifty-eight years.


Son of the late Leon and Katherine (Lipka) Urban.


Retired as a maintenance supervisor for the former Davisville Construction Center after thirty-two years. Also was an appliance salesman for the former Apex Store, in Warwick. World War II army veteran serving in Europe.


Funeral Friday at 8 A.M. from the R.A. Iannotti & Sons Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., Coventry. Mass of Christian Burial at 9 A.M. in SS. John & James Church, West Warwick. Burial with military honors in RI Veterans Cemetery. Calling hours Thursday 4-7 P.M.
