Matilda M. Breighner, of Gettysburg and formerly of Littlestown, entered into eternal rest on the morning of May 18, 2010. She was the widow of Ralph L. Breighner.

Born January 3, 1917, in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Frantz and Ludia (Snyder) Martin.

She was seamstress and retired from Jack Tar Togs of Littlestown.

Matilda is survived by a son, Jesse R. Clapsaddle and wife, Becky of Littlestown; four grandchildren, John R. Clapsaddle of Spring Grove, Jeffrey Allen Clapsaddle of Hanover, Judy Ann Ness of Littlestown, and Jill Louise Meadows of Baton Rouge, LA; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ambrose "Tony" Martin of Gettysburg.

Matilda was predeceased by a granddaughter, Janet Clapsaddle; a great-grandson, Clifford Meadows, Jr.; five sisters; and eight brothers.

Inurnment was in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Littlestown.
