Born, raised & died in Goodlettsville, Sumner Co., Tennessee; Served in Europe during World War I, was a farmer & insurance agent for the Hartford Co. He & his brother Geo. E went West, he as a lineman to Colorado, when much of the Jackson family ventured westward, but he returned home to Tennessee and remained. He loved trains, tennis & swimming. Retired from raising sheep & farming and lived on the homeplace in Goodlettsville, SW Sumner Co., where he died. - Karen Neely Mullins, grand-daughter
