Daniel J. Huecker was born September 11, 1915, in Darke County, Ohio. He died November 18, 1994, at his home in Salina, Kansas.

Mr. Huecker moved to Salina ine 1958 from Peru, Indiana. He was an Air Force veteran. After retiring from the Air Force, he managed service stations for Sinclair Oil Co. and Phillips Petroleum Co.

He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and American Legion Post No. 62, both of Salina.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elma L. in 1992. Survivors included a son, Tom of Greenville, S.C.; a daughter, Gayle Bassett of Junction City; two brothers, Richard of Sidney, Ohio, and Eugene of Dayton, Ohio; three sisters, Mary Ballweg of Dayton, Lucille Doenges of New Breman, Ohio, and Ruth Bertke of Maria Stein, Ohio; and a grandchild.
