Alfred H. Averill died at the home of his brother, Elbridge Averill, on Buffalo St. Wednesday at the age of 82 years, 6 monthe 5 days. Mr. Averill was born in Gowanda on Dec 29th, 1840, his parents being Thomas Carlos Averill and Lydia Benson Averill, who came here from New England.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 pm., with interment in Pine Hill.
