An Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Meat Cutters Union, Local 555, Mr. Ransier was a long time Camas resident. He was born March 25, 1919, in Goldendale, Wash.
Survivors include his wife, Ellen, at home, four sons, Robert J. Speelman of Washougal, David R. Ransier of Vancouver, and Norman D. Ransier and Ronald C. Ransier, both of La Center; one brother, Lester of Goldendale; one sister, Etta Hutson of Mabton, Wash.; and six grandchildren.
