Edna "Midge" Cospelich, 80, of Gulfport, died Monday, April 26, 2004 in Gulfport. Mrs. Cospelich was a native and lifelong resident of Gulfport.
She was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Gulfport and a member of St. John Altar Society, American Legion Auxiliary, and Grace Memorial Baptist Joy Club.
Mrs. Cospelich was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence "Bean" Cospelich; parents, Ernest B. Mize, Sr. and Mamie Mize; and a brother, Ernest B. Mize, Jr.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Scruggs and her husband, Richard "Dick" Scruggs; of Gulfport; three sons, Wayne Cospelich and wife, Vickie, Bruce Cospelich and wife, Sue, Anthony "Bubba" Cospelich and wife, Melissa, all of Gulfport; a brother, Tom Mize of Gulfport; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be Thursday, April 29, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at the Downtown Gulfport Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes where friends may visit from 1 P.M. until the service. Interment will be in Floral Hill Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.
