Mrs. Driggers was born April 10, 1939 in Charleston County, daughter of the late Ervin Chalmers Driggers and Gertrude Ruth Droze Driggers.
Mrs. Driggers was a graduate of Berkeley High School and Trident Technical College.
Vera retired from the Coastal Center. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church for 50 + years where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, is a daughter, Harriet Sanders and husband Gene of Moncks Corner; son, Harold "Clevie" Driggers, Jr. of Moncks Corner; two grandchildren, Gene "Skip" Sanders, Jr. of Moncks Corner and Matthew "Cheesie" Sanders of Moncks Corner; one sister, Theader McCrae of Summerville.
She was predeceased by a sister and two brothers: Betty Ruth Manuel, Herman Driggers and Howard Driggers.
Interment was in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, Summerville.
