Nannie Burrow married Alfred E Jones and had three children. The entire family was found murdered, except one son, Grover Cleveland Jones, who survived, now deceased, died in Coo's Bay, Oregon, in 1944. - from family history of William Matthew Burrow - in the possession of Terry Olsen e-mail: [email protected]

On 14 July 2010 I received the following e-mail:
They main burial ground for Springhill, Louisiana before 1940 was at Spring Branch Cemetery just across the state line in Columbia County, Arkansas. There is no Spring Branch Cemetery in Louisiana to my knowledge. The Springhill City Cemetery originally called Boucher Cemetery did not exist until 1940.

I received the following email this morning from asn unknown person:
Hi, I noticed you are the contributor for three graves at Spring Branch cemetery in
Taylor, Arkansas with the last name Jones. According to the findagrave.com pages for
those three, they were apparently part of a family homicide where the father murdered two
of three children and their mother. I just wanted to let you know that none of them are
buried at Spring Branch cemetery in Taylor. There are actually no interments at that
cemetery with the last name Jones. I grew up in the area and my father has been the
cemetery custodian for many years. I have looked through all of the gravesite listings in
his records and have also personally checked each marker. None of the Jones family are
buried there.
