Earl F. Lowe, Jr 78, of Hendersonville, N.C., formerly of Duluth, died Sunday, December 28, 1986, in Seabrook, Texas. He was born in Duluth and had lived here for 54 years. He was a graduate of Morgan (Park) High School and an employee of Interlake Corp. for 45 years, working as general superintendent of its Zenith Plant in West Duluth before being transferred to Chicago in 1962. There he worked as general superintendent of the corporation's Riverside Plant, retiring in 1973. He has lived in Henderson County, NC for the past 13 years. He was a member of the Northland Country Club in Duluth. His wife, Amy Smith Lowe, die in 1982. Survivors include two sons, Earl F of Seabrook, Texas, and Gerald W of Crown Point, Ind; four daughters Mary M West of Willmar, Minn., Sharon M. Ross of Cottage Grove, Minn., Louise A Stack of Sauk Rapids, Minn an Judith A. Taran of East Lansing, Mich.; a brother, Robert B of Minneapolis; a sister, Barbara Thorson of Fontana, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will begin at 2 p.m. Monday in chapel of Shepherd Memorial Park, Hendersonville. Arrangements are by Thos Shepherd and Son Funeral Directors, Hendersonville.
