Born in Scott County, Va., on July 5, 1915, he was a retired school bus driver of the Scott County School System. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Myrtle Templeton Pendleton Sr.; a daughter, Billie Quillen Hillman; two brothers, Walker Pendleton and Junior Pendleton; and a sister, Claudia Pendleton.
Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Colonial Funeral Home, Weber City, Va., or anytime at his residence.
Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with the Evangelist Billy U. Tignor and Evangelist James Holcomb officiating. Music will be by Mona Holcomb and Aaron Tipton.
The family will meet at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Adams Cemetery Manville community) for the graveside services.
