Earl G. Fisher funeral is set today at Burden's

Earl G. Fisher, 66, recently employed as a caretaker and night watchman at the Columbia Airport, died at a hospital in Sonora Monday night.

In ill health for many years, Fisher's condition had become acute during the past week.

A native of Bradford, Ontario, the deceased had lived at Shaws Flat for many years with his sisters engaged for some time as a farmer.

Funeral services will be held from the Burden Chapel at 2 o'clock this afternoon with Rev. Leonard Dixon of St. James' Episcopal Church officiating.

Cremation will follow at Park View Crematory, Stockton.

Friends are requested to omit flowers but to make donations to charity.

Fisher leaves his daughter, Mrs. Louise Hagen of Oakland; three sisters, Mrs. Sadie F. Howe, Mrs. Grace Gatchell and Mrs. Mae Draper, all residents of Springfield; two grandchildren.
