Our Snowflake Letter.
Snowflake, Feb. 11, 1896.
Editor Argus;
Mrs. Prudence Flake, wife of W. J. Flake, and one of the pioneers of Snowflake, died at her home in this place at 9 a. m. Feb. 8, 1896. She has been afflicted with asthma since she was two weeks old, and it finally wore her out. She was an exceptionally good woman, and her many virtues were spoken of at her funeral, which took place at 10 o'clock a. m. Feb. 10. A large concourse of people numbering about 309, on foot and in vehicles, followed our worthy sister to her resting place. The deceased was the mother of seven children, three of them having preceded her to the spirit world.
