E. Jean Aylesworth, a recent resident of Central Florida, died Saturday, November 18, 2006 in the State of Florida. She was 80 years of age.
Born March 1, 1926 in Forest Hills, she was the only daughter of Edward Patrick and Edna Kenney of Long Eddy and Forest Hills. She was the third-generation of the Kenney family to live in Long Eddy.
She loved summering in Long Eddy, and loved horseback riding and swimming in the Delaware River there. She remained active in the real estate business. Survivors include six children and nine grandchildren.
Friends may call Sunday, November 26 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home, 34 Upper Main St., Callicoon.
A Funeral Mass will be held Monday November 27 at 10 a.m. at St Patrick's Church in Long Eddy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Wisner Prof. Bldg., 407 E. Main St., Middletown, NY 10940.
