Julien J. Rheault, 90, 804 10th St. S., Fargo, ND, died Friday, July 5, 2002 in Villa Maria Nursing Home, Fargo.

Julien was born July 8, 1911, on a farm near Horace, ND, to Leon and Ernestine (Trottier) Rheault. He was raised on that same farm near Horace. He moved to St. Benedict when he was 10 years old. He married Laura Cossette on May 31, 1937 in Horace. He and his wife farmed in the Horace area for 25 years. In 1961, they moved to Fargo, where Julien worked as a carpenter with Twin City Construction until his retirement in 1973. After his retirement, Julien worked hard as a volunteer at Elim Nursing Home, Village Family Services, Eagles Club, as well as at his church.

He is survived by his wife, Laura; two sons, Thomas (Sharon) Rheault, Las Vegas, NV, and LeRoy (Betty) Rheault, West Fargo; three daughters, Kathleen (Curtis) Olerud, Fargo, Marie (Bruce) Coryell and Phyllis (Herb) Hamilton, both of Green Valley, AZ; 10 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and one brother, Dan Rheault, Horace.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Annette Savaugeau, Laura Comeau, and Marie Rheault; and one granddaughter, Janet Coryell.

Funeral Service: 10 AM Monday in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Fargo

Visitation: 2-4 PM Sunday in Boulger Funeral Home
Prayer Service: 4 PM Sunday in Boulger Funeral Home

Burial: Holy Cross Cemetery, Fargo.
