Paul J. Jones, son of Josiah and Sarah McCullough Jones died Saturday at U. of M hospital, Ann Arbor. His family lived on the C.V. Van Winkel Farm here about 35 years ago. The deceased had been in Jackson 30 years where he worked for the Pro-Weld Co. Surviving are a son, Paul and 4 sisters, Mrs. Celeste McKinley, Pinckney, Mrs. Minnie Scripture (correction,Scripter), Chelsea, Mrs. Ruth Riethmiller, Jackson, Mrs. Hattie Brooks, Plymouth and 3 brothers, Samuel of Plymouth, Harry, (of Rives Junction) and William of Jackson.
The funeral services were at Burghardt Funeral Home in Chelsea, Tuesday. Rev Keith Ruegsogger of Pinckney officiating. Burial in Pinckney Cemetery.
