Born in Scipio, Mr. Bergerstock, who had lived in this area all his life, was a retired farmer.
He was a member of the Moravia Trotting Pony Association as well as a member of the International Trotting and Pacing Association.
Surviving are his wife, the former Elizabeth Hitchcock, two sons, Carl of Cayuga and Charles of Moravia, three brothers, Carl of Cayuga and Robert and Clinton Bergerstock of Scipio, six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Wade Funeral Home in Moravia. Burial was in Fleming Rural Cemetery.
