Private Rites Set Tuesday

WHEATLAND — Private services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday (1 April 1980) at the Hillcrest Memorial Park Chapel, Hermitage, for Paul L. Mahannah, 32, of 38 Hamilton Ave, who died Saturday (29 March 1980) of a gunshot he received following a dispute in a Sharon barroom.

Mr. Mahannah was born Nov. 15, 1947, in Sharon, a son of Paul W. and Dorothy Luba Mahannah. He had been employed at the National Castings plant in Sharon for 10 years and was a veteran of the Air Force and a member of American Legion Post 18 of Youngstown, the American Carpo-Russ Club and the Saxon Club, both or Sharon and United Steelworkers Local 1477.

He leaves his wife, Chontae Cha Pak, whom he married in 1967; a daughter, Nancy M. and a son, Paul John, both at home; his parents in Hermitage; two sisters, Miss Shirley Mahannah of Hermitage and Miss Patricia Ann Mahonnah of Los Angeles; a brother, Albert P. of Seaside, Calif.; and a
grandfather, Harvey Maannah of Hermitage.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the McGonigle Funeral Home, Sharon, Pa.

Family will receive friends in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home Inc., 699 E. State St., Sharon, from 7 to 9 pm today.

Private funeral service at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Hillcrest Memorial Park Chapel, Hermitage, with the Rev. Randall P. Luther, Pastor of Hickoroy United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will follow.
