GUINN, Lewis R. age 87 of Troy, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2010. He retired from Danis Industries with more than 35 years of service. He was a member of Troy Baptist Temple and was a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife: Carolyn Guinn, daughter: Maggie McClellan of Troy, brother: William (Gertrude) Guinn of Phillipsburg, grandchildren: Scott (fiancé: Deanna) McClellan, Catherine (Jarrod) Butcher, Melissa (David) Kuo, great grandchildren: Jessica, Ryan, Phebe, step children, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife: Margaret M. Guinn, parents: Egbert and Phebe (Sears) Guinn, brother: Paul Guinn, sister: Thelma Piero and son-in-law: John L. McClellan. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 17, 2010 at the Troy Baptist Temple (691 Staunton Rd., Troy, Ohio) with Pastor David Mulvaine officiating. Interment will follow the service at Arlington Cemetery in Brookville. The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood).
