FUNERAL OF MRS. BATCH.

Funeral services for Mrs. Wilda A. Batch, who died Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J.C. Jacob, 8 miles northwest of Emporia, were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Methodist church in Neosho Rapids. Rev. Paul Pentz pastor of the church, conducted the services. Mrs. Charles Richmond and Miss Beryole Carl sang, accompanied by Mrs. William Davis. Pallbearers were David Van Gundy, William Lynch, A.B.Genter, Allison Lane, S.C. Jacob and E.E. Laughlin. Burial was in the Neosho Rapids cemetery.

A daughter, Mrs. R.F. Mayes, of Guthrie, OK., attended the funeral.

MRS. WILDA BATCH DEAD.

Mrs. Wilda A. Batch died Monday night at 10:55 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J.C. Jacob, who lives 8 miles northwest of Emproia. She had been sick at her daughter's home for the past 3 1/2 years.

Funeral serices will be Wednesday afternoonn at 2 o'clock at the Methodist chruch in Neosho Rapids. Rev. Paul Pentz, pastor of the church, will conduct the sercices. Burial will be in the Newosho Rapids cemetery.

The casket will be open from 7 until 9 o'clock this evening and until 12 o'clock Wednsday morning at the Roberts=Blue Funeral home.

Mrs. Batch was the former Wilda A. Andrews. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew J. Andrews and was born October 16, 1856, in Lafayette, Wis. Mrs. Batch came to Kansas when she was 3 years old. She was married to Wililliam Henry Batch on June 23, 1877, in Emporia. Mr. Batch died Mary 20, 1918 at Neosho Rapids.

Surviving are: two daughters, Mrs. J.C. Jacob, and Mrs. P.F. Mayes of Guthrie, Okla.: a brother, S. T. Andrews, of Neosho Rapids, and a granddaughter, three grandsons, and thee great grandchildren. The daughters and two sons proceeded her in death.
