Patricia Ann "Patsie" Adams of Miami, Oklahoma died Saturday, May 22, 2010 at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Missouri after an illness. She was 66.

Patsie was born February 16, 1944 in Marlow, Oklahoma to William Able and Udie Mae (Acre) Shaw. She had lived in Miami since November 2009 moving from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was a cosmetologist.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 9 brothers and sisters.

Patsie was married to Carl Joe Adams from 1962 - 1980. He survives of Morris, Oklahoma.

Additional survivors include:
1 Son: Carl Joe Adams,II and his wife Jenny of Dallas, Texas.
1 Daughter: Kari Lynn Thomas and her husband Paul Ingram of Miami, Oklahoma.
2 Brothers: Kenneth Shaw of Marlow, Oklahoma.
Haskell Eugene Shaw of Las Vegas, Nevada.
1 Sister: Naomi "Pete" Armstrong of Marlow, Oklahoma.
6 Grandchildren: Austin Brown, Tyler Joe Brown, Isaac Adams, Aaron Adams, Annamaria Thomas and Dalton Young.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home of Miami. The Rev. Susan Connell and Pastor Leon Weece will officiate. Entombment will be in G.A.R. Cemetery of Miami. Pallbearers will be Danny Berry, David Thomas, Jimmy Rogers, Marvin Short, Steve James and Myk Mead. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-7 p.m. at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home of Miami.
