Rites For Northern Pacific Engineer Are To Be Held Wednesday

Funeral services for Albert E. Tripp will take place at the Marsh & Powell chapel at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Rev. M. E. Van de Mark will conduct the rites and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers will hold services at the chapel. Graveside rites will be conducted by the Elks.

Mr. Tripp, aged 64 years, veteran Missoula railroad man, died at a local hospital late Sunday night following an extended illness.

Born at Fairfield, Minn., Mr. Tripp was identified with railroading in this section of the state since 1908, being well-known in Missoula and to railroad men throughout the West. He went into engine service as an engineer in this division 34 years ago.

Mr. Tripp was a member of the Elks lodge and of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Firemen. Besides his widow he is survived by a daughter, Pauline, of Missoula; a son, Phillip, of Cleveland, Ohio, and a sister, Mrs. Grace MacDougall, Pembina, N.D.
