Ann Chustz was born in Overton, Texas, Sept. 3, 1934 and passed away Dec. 16, 2003 in Conroe, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sgt. Bobby Nelson Chustz, who died in the service of his country in Korea. She is survived by her children, David and wife, Debbie of Kilgore, Texas, Theresa Speirs of Hudson, Wisconsin, Terry Vowell of Dunn, N. C. and Michael of St. Paul, Minn. She is also survived by bother-in-law, Jimmy Chustz of Kilgore; sisters, Lou Laurence and husband, Jake of Tyler, Joan Ussery and husband, Hermon of Conroe, Pat Kozub and husband Al of Conroe; brother, Jim Van Haverbeke and wife, Dixie of Silsbee; and sister-in-law, Mary Van Haverbeke of Huntsville; ten grandchildren; four great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2003 at 1 p.m. at Groesbeck Funeral Home with burial in the Faulkenberry Cemetery. The Rev. Derl Lee will conduct the services. All local arrangements are under the direction of Metcalf Funeral Directors. The family wishes to thank Dr. B.E. Powell and Dr. B. K. Mangapuram, the hospitality minister of Sacred Heart Church and all of the employees of Conroe Heath Care Center for their kind and loving care.
