Glassman), 75, of 201 Chatham St., Bevaer Dam, died at the Beaver Dam Care Center on Tuedsay, Feb. 14, 1978, following a short illness. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 18, 10 a.m. from the Murray Funeral Hone and 10:30 a.m. from St. Michael Catholic Church. Father Leonard Piechowski and Father Robert Maney will officiate and burial will be in St. Michael Catholic Cemetery. Mrs. Straseski was born in Beaver Dam on July 10, 1902, a daughter of John and Katherine Glassman. She married Leonard Straseski on Jan 16, 1928. Mrs. Straseski was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Rosary Society, Sacred Heart League, Good Samaritan Guild, and Apostolate of Suffering. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Norbert and Joseph of Beaver Dam, and Leo of Milwaukee; 11 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Joseph (Verna) Schultze of Sunset Point, Beaver Dam, one half-brother, Robert Tveit of Ventura, CA, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter,, one son, one sister, and one brother. Friends may call at the Murray Funeral Home on Friday from 3 to 9 p.m. on Friday. Vigils are: Apostolate of Suffering, Good Samaritan Guild, Rosary Society, to follow each other beginning at 3 p.m. and a parish vigil at 8:30 p.m. Friday.
