Nancy's birth year is approximate.
The 1860 census is the only one we can be positive about. Using that, and the information in the Civil War files establishes her as the wife of J.W. Reddington, and the sister of Jesse Mace. The 1850 census isn't as clear but does suggest a relationship between Nancy Jane, Jesse, and the Mace family of Nathan and Dorcas Mace. That relationship is further suggested by that one of the Sackman sisters is a witness to at least one of the births of Mary Catherine (Scott)'s children.
