Leo J. Hoffman, a former Englewood resident and letter carrier, died Feb. 12 in Yuma, Ariz. He was 75.
A service was Feb. 18 at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary. Interment was in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
He was born Feb. 22, 1918, in Claflin, Kan. On April 20, 1948, he married Lois Wilma Gifford in Burlington. Hoffman served in the Navy during World War II. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service.
He was a member of Pearl Harbor Survivors Association and St. Louis Catholic Church Church.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Cynthia Welch, Salida; three sons, Tom, Northglenn, Richard, Parker and Michael, Cedar Hills, Texas; a sister, Beatrice Murray, Denver; a brother, Wilbur, Ashland, Kan.; and eight grandchildren.
