Mrs. Ann McDonald.
Mrs. Anna M. McDonald, Union township, died July 9 at her home following a short illness. She was 81 years old.
Born in Erie county, New York, Dec. 18, 1868, Mrs. McDonald had lived in Isabella county for the past 79 years. She attended the Sacred Heart school and was a member of the Sacred Heart church alter society.
Rosary services will be held at the residence Monday evening at 8 p.m. and solem reqiem high mass Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. from the Sacred Heart church with Rev. Edw. O'Hara of Hart, Rev. L. J. Farquharson and Rev. G. Guzikowski of Mt. Pleasant officiating. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
Joseph J. Rush is in charge of arrangements.
Surviving are eight children, Fred and Ann Louise Thering of Mt. Pleasant, Elizabeth McDonald of Plymouth, Marguerite Haener of Ecorse, Evelyn Spoehr of Flat Rock, Frances Roberts of Harbor Beach, Mildred Munroe of Gagetown, Cecelia Bingham of Morgan field, Ky; a sister, Mrs. Katherine Grinnell, three brothers, Edward Diehl and Fred Diehl, Shelton, Washington; and Byron Diehl, Matherton; and 42 grandchildren.
