Finwell M. “Finnie” Battershell married James M. Fisher on September 13, 1876, in McLean County, Illinois. In 1880 the couple lived in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where James was a telegraph operator for Western Union. After James’ death in 1884, Finnie moved back to McLean County, Illinois. In 1918 Finnie relocated to Tucson, Arizona, with her grand-nephew, Lyndon Rutledge Wilson, who also is buried in Evergreen Memorial Park.

Mrs. Finnie Fisher was Caucasian, widowed, and age about 76 at the time of her death owing to cerebral hemorrhage.
