Mrs. Louise Ernestine Allison rites held

Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Ernestine Allison, age 57, were held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 1980 in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Heil, pastor, officiating. Interment was in Citizens Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Allison died at 11:26 a.m. on Sunday, April 6, 1980 in St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo. She was born on January 18, 1923 in Kerens, Navarro County, Texas. She married Rev. Joe W. Allison on June 3, 1947 in Abilene, Texas. They moved to Clarendon in 1964 from Pampa and he died in 1966. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lynette Henry of Plainview, Mrs. Nelda Keown of White Deer; her mother, Mrs. Birdie Jane McDowell of Meridian, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Cox of Plainview, Mrs. Erma Kyser of Meridian; two brothers, James E. McDowell of Meridian, Edwin McDowell of Valley Mills; and three grandchildren.

Casket bearers were Billy Goodman, Bill Lowe, Ronnie Ward, Harold Phelps, Leo Smith, and Lloyd Risley.
