A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006, in Portland Memorial Funeral Home for Sharon L. Helzer, who died Nov. 7 of ovarian cancer at age 65.
Sharon Weisser was born Oct. 24, 1941, in Portland. She graduated from Madison High School and was a physician's assistant at Kayser Orthopedic and Fracture Clinic. In 1961, she married Richard; he died in June.
Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Galloway; son, Kirk; mother, Helen Selberg; brother, John Weisser; sisters, Jean Ledbetter and Robin Evans; and three grandchildren.
