Ephriam Carter Courser, son of Ephriam and Martha Courser was born in the State of New York, March 13, 1866. He came with his parents, to Michigan in 1876, where he spent his entire life. He was united in marriage to Emma Gearhart, June 20, 1889. To this union 8 children were born, 6 sons, 2 daughters, one daughter Elsie, died May 9th, 1911. His wife preceded him May 6, 1912. On January 31, 1914 he united in marriage to Anna McLaren who preceded him July 13, 1917. On April 6, 1918 he was united in marriage to May Rareden. His daughter Nada, passed away Dec. 31, 1927. He passed away December 28, 1933 at the age of 67 years, 9 months, 15 days. He is survived ny his wife, a foster son Noble, of Mancelona, 6 sons, Herman and Walter of Lansing, Daniel of Detroit, Archie William and Andrew of Blanchard. 4 stepsons, 2 stepdaughters, 4 brothers, 4 sisters, 29 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and many friends.
