Graveside services for Milton S. Allen, 74, Canton, are scheduled for noon Saturday at Mitchell Cemetery, Iredell, under direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home, Wills Point.

Mr. Allen died May 27, 2010, in Grand Saline. He was born Dec. 6, 1935, in Whitney.

Survivors include his wife, Maudane Allen, Canton; sons, Keith Allen, Edgewood, Brad Allen, Canton, and Craig Allen, Denton; and grandchildren, Michael, Cade, Jessika, Madison, Sam and Avery Allen.
Graveside service for Milton S. Allen, 74, of Canton, is scheduled for 12:00 noon Saturday, May 29, 2010, at Mitchell Cemetery in Iredell with Mr. Tim Ayers officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point. He passed away Thursday morning, May 27, 2010, in a Grand Saline nursing home. Milton was born December 6, 1935, in Whitney, Texas, the son of Jesse Oliver Allen and Inez Arene Mayfield Allen. He was raised in Dallas and graduated from Forest Avenue High School in 1953. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. On December 1, 1958, he married Maudane Linch in Dallas. Milton had been employed by Austin Steel Company in Dallas and was a photographer in Duncanville. He enjoyed playing the guitar with a group that entertained at the nursing homes in the Duncanville area. Milton also liked woodworking. He lived in Duncanville for forty-three years prior to moving to Canton in 2005. Milton was a member of the Edgewood Church of Christ. Preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jesse Duane Allen. Milton is survived by his wife, Maudane Allen, of Canton; three sons, Keith Allen & wife, Pam, of Edgewood, Brad Allen & wife, Beverly, of Canton and Craig Allen & wife, Kelli, of Denton and six grandchildren, Michael Allen & wife, Cynthia, Cade Allen & wife, Kristal, Jessika Allen, Madison Allen, Sam Allen and Avery Allen. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
