GRANDMA CURRY CALLED TO HER REWARD
The many friends of Grandma Curry were shocked to hear of her death which occurred at her home in this city last Thursday morning, February 28th. Mrs. Curry has lived in this community for the past twenty-four years and during that time has made a large number of friends who are grieved to hear of her death.
Jennie Eliza White was born at Olena, Henderson county, Ill., Dec. 13, 1855 [sic], and departed this life at her home in Litchfield, on Thursday, February 28, 1929, being at the time of her death 73 years, 2 months and 15 days.
She was united in marriage to Geo. A. Curry at Olena, Ill., on Oct. 1st, 1879. To this union were born three sons, Freddie Raymond, Wilbur M and Russell W. Freddie passed away at the tender age of ten years in 1890. Her husband preceded her to the great beyond in the year 1916.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. W.D. Williams at the Presbyterian church Saturday, March 2. Interment was made in the Litchfield cemetery.
