Harry Wayne Carlton, 77, of Swain died September 6, 1999 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born June 21, 1922, in Swain to Joseph Rastus 'J. R.' and Iva Harriet Thomas Carlton. He was a marine Corps veteran of World War II and an employee of the U.S. Postal Service in Tulsa, Okla., for 30 years.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie M. Archer Carlton of Swain, Ar. ; two sons, Chris Carlton and Jack David Carlton, both of Tulsa; on brother; Jack Carlton of Springdale, AR.; four grandchildren; thee great-grandchildren.
