— Funeral services for Elwanda Hendrix Weaver, 73, of Cullman were Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2008, at Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Andrew Sigenthaler and Bro. Jimmy Martin officiating, with interment in Bethel Cemetery in Morgan County.
Holly Pond Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Weaver died on Saturday, Dec. 22, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born on Aug. 8, 1934, to James A. and Debbie Irene Elizabeth Bryant Hendrix. She was self-employed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Charles B. Widner and Alfred Weaver; two sisters, Urilla Allbright and Bobbie Jean Saunders; a grandson, Timothy Jarrod Widner; and a son-in-law, Robert Powell.
Survivors include three sons, Timothy Mark (Hope) Widner, Jimmy Dale Widner and Charles E. Widner; two daughters, Kathy Powell and Sarah (J.W.) Chandler; a brother, Wayne Hendrix; a sister, Addie Cole; 19 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
