Lillie Pearlene Hawkins
Funeral services for Lillie Pearlene Hawkins, age 65, of Sulphur Springs, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 19, 2008 2008 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Speed officiating. Burial will follow at North Hopkins Cemetery with Larry Golightly, Robert Wolf, Buddy Smith, Ricky Barnes, Dwayne Barnes and Russell Skeen serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Mrs. Hawkins passed away Monday, March 17, 2008 at her residence.

Mrs. Hawkins was born January 5, 1943 in Wellington, daughter of Vernon Lee and Velma Faye Wolf Chaney. She married Harold Hawkins on June 20, 1981 in Hugo, Oklahoma. He survives. Mrs. Hawkins worked in the jewelry department at Walmart for 15 years. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Other survivors include four daughters, Patricia Redden and husband Johnny of Henderson, TX, Lisa McClure and husband Danny Ray of Greenville, TX, P. K. Harris and husband Paul of Mt. Pleasant, TX, and Sherry Watson and husband Paul of Birthright, TX, 17 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sons, Coye Heath Golightly, Chad Golightly and Doyle Wayne Compton, daughter, Donna Dixon and brother, Vernon Chaney. Arrangements are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home.
