David R. Gorneault

David R. Gorneault, 50, passed away at his home on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009.
Born July 4, 1958 in New Britain, a son of Marie (Fongemie) Dlubac of Burlington and the late Richard Gorneault.
David was employed by Pratt & Whitney Aircraft of Cheshire for over 20 years. He was a member of the Southington Elks, Polish Falcons Club and the CT Motorcycle Riders Assoc. David also served with the US Army.
Besides his mother he is survived by a son, Matthew Gorneault of Meriden; two brothers, Daniel Gorneault of CA and Daren Gorneault of Burlington; a sister Lisa Bramhill and husband Christopher of VA; step father Robert Dlubac of Burlington; a step brother Mark Dlubac of Canton, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a step brother Robert Dlubac.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 6, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. at the CT State Veterans Cemetery, Bow Lane, Middletown.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington.
The family requests in lieu of flowers donations may be made tot he CT Veterans Home & Hospital, 287 West St., Rocky Hill, CT 06067
