Margaret was born November 6, 1913 in the Town of Worden, rural Thorp to George and Mary (Kocherer) Haas. She was united in marriage April 26, 1934 to John M. Budzinski at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Thorp. She lived and worked in the Thorp area for most of her lifetime. She became a resident of Oakbrook Manor in January 1996.
Surviving are two sons: John L. "Jack" (Barbara) Budzinski, Bernard (Joan) Budzinski, both of Thorp; one daughter, Mary Ann (Joe) Truckey, Thorp; 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; one brother, Leonard (Pearl) Haas of Sun Prairie, WI; two sisters, Manetta (Zigmund) Danielewicz of Thorp, Annabelle Budzinski of Lombard, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John on November 30, 1992, one son Eugene Budzinski, one daughter Betty Budzinski Tieman, two brothers, one sister, also one brother and one sister in infancy.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 18, 1998, 10:30 a.m. at St. Bernard's-St. Hedwig's Catholic Church, Thorp with Rev. John Puerner officiating. Burial was in St. Hedwig's Cemetery, Thorp, WI.
