ODESSA, J.C. Faris, 78, of Odessa, died Saturday, August 4, 2001 at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2001 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ronnie Newton officiating.
Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Bandera and moved to Odessa in 1949, and worked as a drill collar specialist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Melba Faris of Odessa; three sons, James Faris of Norfolk, Va., C.T. Faris of Flower Mound and Darrell Faris of Corpus Christie; six daughters, Dianna Crowder of Ballinger, Lora Jean Parvin of New Braunfels, Phyllis Heilman of Tucson, Ariz., Kathy Henderson of Katy, Elizabeth Lingle of Odessa and Tina Evans of Odessa; 23 grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
