Lee was a US Air Force veteran and was a former member of Church of Christ and member of Community Grange, both in Newport; a member of ITPA Trottingbred Association; PA Breeders; and Twin Maple Racing Association. Lee was an avid pony racer, enjoyed making hay and cooking.
Surviving are his mother, Ruth Britcher of Newport; his wife Dawn (Lewis) Britcher; brother, Paul E. Britcher, Jr. of Newport and sisters, Martha G. Ebersole of Duncannon and Isabelle N. Lee of Newport; stepdaughter Heather McNatt, Elliottsburg; step son Josh McNatt, New Cumberland and nieces and nephews, Stacy, Brian Adam Derek and Todd.
He was predeceased by his father who died in 2004 and brother Larry A Britcher who died in 2008.
