Ernestine Dingess Beckett, 89, of Peach Creek died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2001, at the home of a granddaughter in Culloden. She was a homemaker and a member of Crooked Creek Church of Christ.
Surviving: daughters, Lois Browning of Zolfo Springs, Fla., Jessica Norman of Crooked Creek, Mary Baker of Chapmanville; sister, Phyllis Maynard of Beaver, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Crooked Creek Church of Christ with the Rev. William "Bill" McDonald officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at James Funeral Home, Logan.
