Waneta Leake, age 87, was the daughter of Samuel Scott and Estaline (Clevenger) McBee. She married Kenneth Eugene Hodges on September 12, 1944, in Kansas City, Missouri. She married Floyd O. Leake on June 27, 1996. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her daughter, Sammie Kayleen Hodges. Survivors include her sons, Richard Hodges and Stanley Hodges, three grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Spring Valley Baptist Church in Raytown, Missouri. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in Independence, Missouri.
