At the Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury, of brain cancer. He grew up in Chevy Chase, MD and graduated from the Good Counsel High School in Olney, MD. He spent the last 10 years living and loving life in Fort Lauderdale, FL, where he leaves many close friends.
He was the son of Lisi Ruczynski of Ocean Pines, MD & Gerald P. Nye, Jr. of Lake Park, FL.
He is also survived by his daughter, Brittany Lauren Nye; brother, Christopher & Aimee Dunn; niece, Madison Nicole Dunn; uncle, Richard J. Nye; uncle and aunt, Rev. John & Deborah Nye Corgan of Connecticut, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sen. Gerald Prentice & Marguerite Nye, and Lila Maki, all of Chevy Chase, MD.
