An astounding and aspiring guitarist/songwriter, he formed and played in many rock 'n roll bands from his early teen years. He was interested in playing guitar at the age of 7 and started lessons in a music shop on Woodman Ave in the San Fernando Valley, CA. By the age of 12, his guitar teacher simply could not teach him anymore, as he had developed his own unique style and could duplicate any other guitarists style, note-for-note. He grew up mostly in SFV, CA and some of the schools he attended were Vena Ave Elementary, Richard E. Byrd Jr High and John H. Francis Polytechnic High. He was a well known guitarist in the Los Angeles area as well as Kansas, Missouri, and Western Washington. He touched the lives of everyone he knew with his happy-go-lucky positive attitude. He was a true friend, close to his family and determined to enlighten the music world with his gift. He came close to the "big time" many times, played in a band that opened for Megadeth, auditioned for Motley Crue, and even had an informal session with Randy Rhoads. His last music venture was headed for success, as it would have opened up a whole new unique genre of music.
He left behind a legacy of music and his prized possesions; his two guitars. He also leaves his daughter, parents, sister, two nephews, and many special friends.
Randy will live on forever in our hearts.
