MRS. BRANDLEY DIES
Mary C. Brandley, a resident of El Reno since 1898, passed away at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. G. F. Flagg, here July 15, at the age of 82 years and six months.
The funeral was held from the Presbyterian church at 2:30 p m. on July 17, Rev. G. A. Swanson officiating. Interment followed in the El Reno cemetery.
The deceased was born in Knoxville, Tenn., December 18, 1840. At the age of 18 she moved to Missouri and in 1859 again changed her place of residence, this time going to Bazaar, Kansas. On March 4, 1866, she was united in marriage to Albin Brandley and in 1898 the family moved to El Reno, where they have resided ever since.
Mr. Brandley died here In 1902. Mrs. Brandley was a member of the Presbyterian church. She is survived by seven children. five sons and two daughters. The sons are; Charles Brandley, El Reno; Pete Brandley, Pocasset; William Brandley, Greenfield; Arnold Brandley, Ekalaka, Montana; and A. S. Brandley, Melvern, Kans. The daughters are; Mary L. Burton of Pocasset and Clara B. Russell, of Bazaar, Kans.
*The year of death is 1922, but the headstone is 1923.
